The Red Panda also called Firefox, a beloved native of the eastern Himalayas and southwestern China, captures the hearts of wildlife enthusiasts with its vibrant red fur and gentle demeanor. This charming mammal, known for its arboreal lifestyle, spends much of its time nestled in trees. Flourishing at elevations between 2,200 and 4,800 meters, these delightful creatures boast a lifespan of 8 to 10 years and exhibit a unique coat that aids in camouflage. A unique trait is its tail, which doubles as a cozy blanket. The Red Panda predominantly feeds on bamboo despite being an omnivore.

Embark on an unforgettable journey starting from Bagdogra Airport, venturing into Nepal via Kakkarbhitta. Traverse through Illam ‘ s lush tea plantations, where the scent of tea mingles with mountain air. Experience thrilling off-road adventures amidst rugged terrain, leading to Singalila Ridge, a hidden gem nestled amidst the mountains, which will be our sanctuary for the next few days where we will began our expedition for the elusive Red Panda.
In the early morning, a team of trackers will enter on the search, while guests will set out after breakfast accompanied by a designated guide or naturalist. Exploring the forest and engaging in activities like birding, guests will await notification from the trackers regarding a Red Panda sighting. Once notified, the guests will proceed to witness the captivating presence of the Red Panda.
Our journey will start early morning to Sandakphu to witness the mesmerizing sunrise and breathtaking views. Meanwhile, trackers will continue their quest for the elusive Red Panda. After returning from Sandakphu, guests have the option to resume their wildlife activities at their leisure.
